Our Story
Brendan Murdock, the founder of anatomē has always been interested in apothecaries, recipes and ingredients. After a period of immense stress Brendan interest in aromatherapy manifested as he started experimenting in essential oils, it was at this time did he start to appreciate he would develop a more elevated collection of oils, this power scent is a process called aromachology.
Before creating anatomē Brendan developed his passion for experiences, ingredients and brand creation by first pioneering wine and plate-sharing restaurant CRU in Hoxton and then came Murdock London - grooming experts across London.
The modern apothecary redefined
More than a wellness brand, anatomē is a modern London apothecary, a British start up - we are building a community of individuals in control of their health and happiness, offering science-proven botanical formulations that help them sleep and find balance aligned with developing wellness practices to support their goals.

We pioneer aromachology, the future of scent, and essential oil blends to support sleep and emotional health, alongside this our collection, includes salts, skincare, candles, and bath & body formulations. Created by a team of aromachologists, nutritionists + scientists our formulations support a wellbeing-first health epicurean customer, promoting practices to support sleep, balance and performance.
All our formulations are consciously crafted and enriched with natural plant extracts and essential oils that deliver multiple benefits and transformative wellbeing results.
